Let’s work wit one leg — choose either leg and as you follow your program with the X4 Labs Extender. First tighten the muscles of that leg making the leg feel tight and rigid all over. Keep your leg muscles tight for a moment. (Pause) Now let your leg muscles begin to relax from your toes up to your hip. Focus your attention first on your toes letting them relax then on the muscles of your lower leg, letting them relax then on the muscles of your thigh, letting them relax. That’s good. Tighten them first, now let them relax. (Pause) Now focus on your shoulders and your shoulder muscles. Tighten them by pulling your shoulders back; feel how tight they are. Now let the muscles of your shoulder relax. Feel the relaxation in your back. Now stretch your neck and tighten those muscles, again, relax. (Pause) Now do the same thing with the muscles in your arms from the shoulder right down to your fingertips. First tighten : these muscles, making your arms and fingers tight and rigid; now let your muscles from your shoulders right down to your fingertips relax. Now tighten up your whole face. Hold your face that way for a moment. Tight. Tighter. Now relax all the muscles of your face and feel the comfort in your face. Now you can feel even more relaxed all over.
